Sims 3 Expansion Pack Not Showing Serial Code

So I bought the Sims 3 Ambitions expansion pack on my Origin application on my Windows PC...

@potatolivia You do not need the code as if you bought the pack through Origin it should be automatically registered. Log into thesims3.com using the same login and password as Origin. Does the pack show as owned in the my page? You no longer have to redeem the rewards. Go to thesims3.com, login, store/sets, Holidays & gifts, registration rewards. Select the appropriate reward. You need to own the pack for the download to work.
Alright. Sorry for the late reply. I'll give a bit more description... based on what I know. So. I bought the Sims 3 Ambitions. Voila, it's on the lancher, registered in Origin and works perfectly. I was never given a code. I paid with PayPal. Entered a verification code, etc, etc. But because it wasn't a disc or an online purchase (via 3rd party website), it never really happened. I've synced my Sims 3 and my Origin, still no sign. I have searched my inbox for anything Origin, EA, or Sims related and all that's there is my account- nothing relating to the purchase other than the verification code.
Sorry if this doesn't help. The new Origin update isn't helping my situation too much either. :-/
Maybe it's just a once-in-a-blue-moon kind of issue that is impossible to troubleshoot?

@potatolivia If you bought AMB from Origin the pack will automatically be registered. If you bought AMB from a third party you will get a code to redeem and activate the pack. If your looking for the reward see the above post.
