Sims 3 for Samsung Tablet

Good Afternoon, 

I am a long time Sims player, but lost touch a few years back.  I now have a Samsung Tablet, and would like to download Sims 3 while it is on sale for $5.00. Can you tell me if I will be able to download and play this on my tablet without a internet connection? I understand I will have to log on the internet to register, but once I do that, should it play fine without the internet connect on my Android tablet?
