Sims 3 for xbox 360. Inventory is acting strangely

This is for sims 3 for xbox 360.

I was playing a game with a single sim, and she had a lot of seeds in her inventory.  She was a great little gardener and collector.

I fell asleep with the console on, I dunno if that has anything to with it or not... but since then I don't see the seeds in the inventory.

Her inventory was alll wrong, so I figured the console must have gotten hot and corrupted the file.  I deleted every game I had saved and started new games, and the seeds I pick up don't show in inventory anymore.

They do show up as fertilizer or bait, but not in the back pack or build mode :3

Please help. 

I play the game from disk, so it isn't installed on the console and I deleted all of the save games since the problem started.

I really like the gardening skill part of the game so I would appreciate the help.
