Sims 3 Gardening Storage

Hi, Just wondering if there is a way to store your vegetables other than the fridge like there was in the sims 2?? Its so annoying when you go to sell your produce and most of it is what you bought...

    If you have World Adventures, you can store the produce in a chest. Other than that, I don't know of another way. 

    By the way, you can have two different lots of apples (for example) if you want in the fridge. Just move the bunch of apples from your inventory manually into the fridge and not by simple dropping it in.

@Andromache2013 Produce Stands would work for this. I'm using them at the moment for storing horse trophies which are getting out of hand, but it would make sense to store vegetables in a produce stand.
