@bulletbuster2004 I'd like the whole deviceconfig, please. It's in in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3. You'll neeed to manually open the folders; the file won't show up in a search. You can delete your user and computer names, about 25 lines down, but there's nothing else in that file that can identify you.

@belleessie Did the lines disappear on-screen, or just in your screenshot? If the latter, then it's possible the issue is downstream of the screenshot function, for example if there were a problem with your screen itself, it wouldn't show up in the screenshots.

@bulletbuster2004 Please try playing in windowed mode. If that doesn't help, please reduce all your in-game settings to the minimum and see whether it makes a difference. You can raise some of them later; this is to see whether you can get to a point where the game isn't crashing.
i have mostly tried everything now☹️ my game isn’t crashing...
there is a bug with edge smoothing as i have already tried all settings.
