Sim's 3 grey glitch

Hi,
So I have already posted this once before and someone posted a comment about checking my graphics driver but that didn't help. Basically, when I play sims my house and town becomes covered by grey shapes and lines so that I can only see certain things but sometimes it covers my whole house.
Please can someone help me get rid of the grey it is very annoying and it is very difficult to play when you can't see anything 🙂

Sorry, it's just easier to keep the same issue in one thread. Did you actually check your graphics card?
