Okay, so I bought the Sims 3 World Bundle ( CD's ) and tried to install them. First I tried Hidden Springs everything went fine until it asked for the code, which they said was invalid. So I talked to an EA representative. They told me it was a problem they had and to wait 2 - 3 days. So, 2 - 3 days later I tried again. However, still invalid. So, I checked my codes by registering them on the sims 3 website. They were not invalid. So, the world showed up in my purchased items.
I downloaded the worlds and then I could see the downloaded content in my installed content, (Both worlds) (Monte Vista came up as an object? Idk if it is supposed to but anyway.. ) Later, I opened up my sims 3 launcher wanting to play on my new worlds. However, they were not there. Not even in the installed content. I went back on the Sims 3 website to download it again. It was downloading in the launcher but with the [in-game] logo next to it and a message that states that the item is already downloaded. It said it was in the game, but did not show up in my installed content.
I then, looked on forums and they said to look for the worlds in my, 'installed worlds' folder. I found them and they said move it to c-drive etc. and then the worlds showed up in my 'Drop down menu' for worlds on the main menu. I clicked the world Hidden Springs everything was fine, but then everything (lots, sims, homes) had names like GameData/dot03/melissa/ etc. This then turned me off completely. I removed the worlds from the c-drive folder for the worlds.
Help ? PLEASE.
