indycutie I've also been playing since Sims 1, although I was a lot younger. But I do get it—I have parents too and see that some tasks just don't make sense to them.
Open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3 > Saves. Find the folder for the save you want to share. Right-click the folder and select Send to > Compressed (zip) file. If you want to share multiple files, that's also fine.
Go to gmail.com in the browser of your choice and sign in. Then go here:
https://drive.google.com/drive/my-drive
This is your free Google Drive space. You can drag any file or folder into this window and the site will upload it. When you've done so, click the three dots to the right of the file name, and you'll see options like Download and Share. Click Share > Get Link, and under General Access, where it says Restricted, change to Anyone with the link. Then click Copy Link. This is what you send me, so I can download the file.
If you want to send me a private message rather than posting the link here, that's fine. Or you can post it here but ask me to remove it once I've downloaded your files. I won't share the save with anyone else.
