Sims 3 Island Paradise Problems

I cant get my island paradise to download through origin. Everytime i try it tells me that i need to update my game launcher then i go to the launcher and it is unable to connect to origin. I have tried to download the patches and it says file not found everytime i try. i have tried deleting all my custom content and i even deleted all my sims and reinstalled them. I cant figure out what to do and i preordered the game and now cant even play it. I am pissed!!!!!!
