Sims 3 Issues - New Windows 10 - PLEASE HELP

Hi. I am having serious issues trying to get Sims 3 to run good on Windows 10. I have been playing Sims 3 since the beginning on Sims 3. I played on Windows Vista, but just recently upgraded my PC to Windows 10. My game now takes forever to load (30+ mins), and once loaded it lags. Game play is not smooth at all and a bit upsetting! I haven't played long enough to know if any crashes or other issues will occur. Any help will be greatly appreciated. DxDiag attached.

@ciennasim The problem you have is Windows 10 does NOT support SecuROM or SafeDisc - it's as simple as that. You now have to use Origin with windows 10. If you want to play TS3 with Origin you will have to install Windows 8 - install from pre 2012 discs - and don't patch. And the game will run with SecuROM and SafeDisc.

@ciennasim you need to update your video card driver. Do you have Origin installed? TS3 has SecuROM and Windows 10 will not run software with SecuROM. You will have to install Origin and get TS3 to version 1.69.

add: another thing I noticed - your HP shipped with a 250W power supply and Nvidia recommends at least a 300W power supply for the GT 730 video card.

I don't have Origin installed because when I had it installed before it was making my game crash. It also updated me to version 1.69. I uninstalled Origin and rolled back to 1.67 and my game worked fine. However, that was on Vista. I just upgraded to Windows 10 a week ago. I still have all of the original discs (base game, all eps and sps) and have no downloaded versions so I didn't think that Origin would be necessary.

The previous graphics card that I had was Nividia Geforce 9600. I just installed the recent one last week. The recommended power supply for that one as the same as the current card, so I didn't think that I'd have issues with that part since I didn't before.

One more question. Can I play in compatibility mode for Windows Vista?

Thanks. I definitely will give it try. As of right now I've choose to sort of rebuild my computer by adding new hardware. Grapics card GeForce GTX 750ti, new cpu Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650 Processor 3.0GHz 1333MHz 12MB LGA 775 CPU, OEM, 1TB hard drive, 8 gigs. I'm going give your solution a try once I make the upgrades and test that first.

@ciennasim Windows 10 does not support SecuROM and SafeDisc therefore the old way of running TS3 won't work. You must use Origin to authenticate the game. TS3 works with Windows 10 as I have had no problems after the upgrade to version 1.69.
