I have tried to play in the new Bridgeport town available on the Late Night expansion pack, but the game play is so slow, it takes my sim forever to do anything or go anywhere. It almost seems that the time is screwed up only for the Bridgeport town. It takes an excessive amount of time for my sim to go anywhere. I don't know if I'm missing a patch to the game but when I refresh for game updates there are none. Any suggestions?
Is this a new game you started ? Brdigeport has some very bad routing problems that causes many sims to get stuck at a spot in the mountains behind the hospital.
See if the cheat resetsim * does anything for you.

Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
To gather a DxDiag on your computer, please follow the steps below:
If you have Microsoft Windows XP:
1. Click the Start button on the Windows Taskbar.
2. Select Run.
3. Type dxdiag in the available text field.
4. Click OK.
5. Click Save All Information.
If you have Windows Vista/Win 7 and do not have a Run selection:
1. Click On Start
2 Type dxdiag into Search Box
3. Click Save All Information.
