Sims 3: License Limit Reached

Question

I just downloaded Sims 3 on my new laptop and when I went to go play it, a message popped up that said something around the lines that the game had reached its license limit. I am guessing that means it has been downloaded on so many different computers. My family has a lot of different laptops and computers and sadly I had to get my old laptop replaced. I really want to be able to play it on my new laptop so if there is any way you guys could help I would really appreciate it!
