Can anyone help me figure this out. After I open the launcher and press play I get this black screen then games crashes and I cant run the game. Ive used clean folders clean reinstalls new EA folder offline launch still nothing. My game is at 1.70!

@x_na0mi Try to force the game to open in windowed mode. Go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3, open Options.ini, search for fullscreen , and set it to 0 (zero).
If that doesn't help, please list the full specs of your Mac: everything you see under About This Mac including the OS and except for the serial number.

Restart your computer and reinstall, and if Origin still doesn't work, let me know what you see when you try to open it.
