I bought a new computer and Im having an issue trying to update Im using EA APP for thefirts time and I bought some new content from the store and it says won't install cause I need to update the game and my game the patch is 1.70 Any solution? I repair the game and did everything ... Don't know what to do now
Zoriimar If you're on patch 1.70, you're already fully updated. What items won't install? Everything from the Store is compatible with patch 1.70, but some Exchange items (user-made content) are not.
If you are in fact installing Store stuff, please try doing so in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop. Open the launcher to spawn a clean folder with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just download a fresh copy of one Store item and see whether it installs.
