Sims 3 not working with EA app
I haven't played The Sims 3 in a while, but today when I tried to start it, the Origin wont connect. after hours of troubleshooting, I figured out, it was closing, and I needed to download the new EA app. After I did that, I still couldn't play, because the launcher stated, that I need the Origin app installed to play the Sims 3, which the new EA app automatically uninstalled, and as a last attempt it didn't even let me install it again, as it is "unable to connect to the internet". (I checked my internet connection multiple times, and it is just fine). The Sims 3 won't even start from the EA app itself, even after i run a repair on it! It is outrageous, because I PAYED for this game, and I'm unable to access it.

After you repaired through the EA App, are you still getting the message that you need Origin in order to run Sims 3? If you're seeing a different error, please post a screenshot. And how did you originally install the game: Origin, disc, or something else?
