Sims 3 owned before EA app

I have sims 3 downloaded on my computer for awhile now, when I had to switch to the EA app last month I had to get back my sims games because I don't have the log in info for that account anymore. I only did sims 4 since I was playing it the most and I had no problems with that but I tried to load up the sims 3 EA app said I didn't own it. I tried looking everywhere on how to fix this before asking, I just don't know what to do.

  • @W0ND3RSS  If your packs were originally registered to a different EA account, you won't be able to add them to this one.  You'd need to recover the old account, which means you'd probably need to contact EA customer support for help.  You could take a photo for each pack showing the disc, its case, and the product code (clearly readable) and upload those when you submit the help request.

If you prefer, you can contact EA Help on Twitter or Facebook instead.

The other alternative is to install your game using the discs and skip the EA App entirely.  This will only work if your base game disc was manufactured before September 2012, so check the copyright date in the fine print on the back.  Newer discs, those that were made to require Origin, will have an Origin logo on them as well.

If you do in fact have an old-enough base game disc and want help with the process of installing, let me know.

  • @W0ND3RSS  How did you recover Sims 4?  If you contacted EA customer support, you'll need to do that again.  Otherwise, try the same process for Sims 3, unless you bought the game again, in which case, don't do that, just let me know.

I got the sims 4 for free since they have it for free. I have some of my sims 3 packs physically if I put in one of them do you think it will work? That's how i did them with origin when i would switch computers and account once.
