Sims 3 Package files not showing up!!

deja_margerum​  I do mean that, and it hasn't updated sine April 12.  So this isn't the user folder the game is reading.  Search your computer for DeviceConfig, and open the location of any other copy; or you can start by looking in OneDrive's Documents folder instead.

deja_margerum​  Please make sure that this is the folder the game is using.  The easy way is to check the time stamp on DeviceConfig.log, which is directly inside the Sims 3 folder.  It will update each time you launch the game (and only then), so if it's older, that means this isn't the right folder.

If this is not in fact the right folder, you can search your computer for another DeviceConfig, as the correct folder will also have one.

unfortunately i think we have different problems:( my launcher works and my downloads as well everything runs great except my package files don’t show up 

Hello! so before previously my mods such as like gameplay mods and stuff would show up in a list when it was on the pick a world screen, that was a big indicator that my cc works, it doesn’t show in cas my cas stuff. 

i restarted the Mod folder with framework and even the nointro package file doesn’t work because i still get a intro 

deja_margerum​  When you say your .package files don't show up, do you mean in the launcher, at the Main Menu, or in the game?  The launcher doesn't show .package files and doesn't know anything about them, and they wouldn't necessarily show up in the Main Menu's mod list, depending on what's in them.  The only problem is if they don't load in-game.

If the content isn't loading within the game itself, please post a screenshot of the contents of the folder that contains the items, as in, I'd like to see the file names and types.  Include the address bar, above the list of files, in the screenshot.

Hey! I think I'm experiencing the same issue! When you try to download the package files through the launcher does it show a black box and then disappear then not download? Same for launching the game! Let me know if you get this box in EA as well?
