Sims 3 patch 1.63 problems

I recently installed the new patch for the sims 3. It was patch 1.63 and I've been having issues. The game loads, but when I select my family the green bar becomes full and then it just goes black. I have about 700 items of cc and some packages. I downloaded a lot of cc in 2011 2012 ish. I tried deleting my cache and restarted the game. I installed the sims 3 store patch but nothing seems to be working... I dont have the greatest computer and its slow so reinstalling the games and 2 eps AND 700 items of cc would take a lifetime and I have no patience whatsoever. Any way I can fix this???

    I've been having nothing but problems with my game since downloading the patch either. I've updated the drivers 3 or 4 times since it started not working but that didn't help. Neither did the factory reset, updating the store patch or clearing the cache.

    I have a gaming laptop and windows 7 but nothing I've done has been able to fix it. I'm just having to wait till another patch comes out and hope it fixes it. I've never even been able to play my copy of Into the Future because of it.

    I've already made my own thread when it first happened. You ended up trying to tell me it was a hardware problem

    Crinrict didn't tell you it was a hardware problem. She said it might be.
