Sims 3 Promotional Code Error (Origin)

Question

I'm trying to buy the Sims 3 University Life, and whenever I go to add it to my cart Origin tells me that my promotion could not be applied and I need to remove my current promo code and try again. I don't have any current promo codes applied. Does anyone know why this is happenening and how I can fix it?
