Sims 3 Registration Code Help

Hello. Never mind this game is nearly 15 years old, I'm a new player. This means I bought the game last week and have not registered my game to my account on the sims 3 store. I cannot find any updated instructions on how to do this.

I bought the game on the EA app, and it sent me an email with a receipt saying I'd purchased it. Nowhere was there a registration code. I tried going the manage > view properties, but the only thing to show up was my download location. I have a pc, if that info is relevant.

Please help, because this is beyond me. I can still play, but it's annoying because I have no access to certain features.

    @lostfly101  Please try signing into the Sims 3 Store site using the same email address and password you use in the EA App.  Normally, the game would already be added to your Store account: that site and the EA App share information.  You can also see which content the site thinks you own by clicking My Page and scrolling down:
