I am trying to make some CC for the Sims 3, and the program I am using keeps asking for my Sims 3 root. What and where is this?

@hotziggity That folder is where your user files (saved games, screenshots,...) are stored, but unless you changed the location in Steam, the game itself should be in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\.
@hotziggity The root is the path of the folder where you have your game installed. By default it's C:/Program files (x86)/Origin Games/The Sims 3 (if you installed your base game throught Origin) and C:/Program files (x86)/Electronic Arts/The sims 3 (if you used a DVD).
Try that, and if it doesn't work, let us know which CC creation tool you are using, because the "root" they are asking for may be different depending on the tool.
I got it on Steam though so it isn't under there. And I installed it to C:\Users\catluver\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3.
