Sims 3 Says Not All Content Is Installed, EA App Says It Is
Ever since switching to Windows 11, I've had trouble with the Sims 3 game and haven't been able to play. I contacted EA support and they told me to make a forum post.
Basically, even after disabling OneDrive, deleting all folders, and re-installing not just Sims 3 but the EA app itself, when I open Sims 3 not all of my packs are installed.
The EA app says they are installed, but the launcher and game are both missing packs and other purchased content. I am logged in, I have the DLC associated with my account, and the EA app claims they are installed.
I have spent thousands of dollars on this game and would like to have my content available. I hope someone can help me out here.
Screenshots picturing the lack of Island Paradise are attached; there is other content, including other expansion packs, but it is hard to keep track of all of them and I struggle with technology, since I am 64 years old. (My child is helping me solve this issue, but the simpler instructions are, the better. They've been doing all the uninstallation and reinstallation for me.)
