tote10013 When you change to fullscreen in Sims 3, do you also change the game's resolution to match your monitor? If not, please do that first, then select fullscreen, and see what happens.
Please try the same with Sims 4 as well.
If this doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
I can load the game without being in full screen and play. Whenever I switch it to fullscreen, the mouse stops working. If I try to load the game with full screen already enabled, it is completely black.
