Sims 3 Showtime singer glitch

On the sims 3 Showtime expansion pack I have a singer, and they became bugged so now they cant do anything related to their job, and they have music constantly following them. I tried restarting the game, but it doesn't change anything. any ideas?

    for the music stuck/following the sim try clear the cache

    to delete the cach files go to electronic arts/the sims 3/


    •CasPartCache.package
    •compositorCache.package
    •scriptCache.package
    •simCompositorCache.package
    •socialCache.package.package

    it's safe to delete these files as a new ones will regenerate

    then launch the game and see if it's stopped being "stuck" to the sim

    @googoogly2121 Do you have Sims 3 and the expansions on Origin? If you do, you could try repairing the game (right click the Sims 3 game tile and select 'Repair Game'). Also you could try moving your Mods folder (location:  Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3) to your desktop and check if the game work fine with out mods/custom content.

    Do you mean if i bought it off origin? Because i got it on steam, if thats what you mean
