Sims 3 slow in build/buy mode

Hi, I'm having trouble with my sims 3 game.. It starts to lag when I use the CAS fuction in buy/build mode. The game slows down, I can't drag a sertain style to another object because of the laggi...

    My old laptop didn't have that either. This laptop has better qualifications.. And my settings are all on low
    But I played with the settings a bit and turn on the advanced rendering
    Now it works fine!

Did your old computer have a dedicated graphics card ? This one only seems to have a integrated chip.

Did you try lowering your settings ?
