Sims 3 still freezing and crashing
I opened up a discussion a while back but my sims 3 still freezes and crashes seconds after loading into live mode - not sure if it’s a cpu or graphics issue. Computer specs : i7-14700, nvidia GeForce etc 4060

i would like to ask did you update your GPU drivers as that most likely the possible cause of the freezing and crashing on your system ?
Yeah I’ve updated all my drivers but it still freezes
please explain the steps you performed can you please try running the game without custom content
can you please uninstall the game and reinstall it and please retry updating your graphics card be sure to run dxdiag by using windows key and the letter r on the keyboard this will bring the run dialog box and type in dxdiag and press enter this will bring up the diagnostics screen for direct x if you please can do a screenshot here is a screenshot of what dxdiag looks like if you are using windows 11 please use the search bar to find dxdiag it will show up in search results in windows 11 or windows 10 there will be a prompt that pops up when you run dxdiag
