Sims 3 Store Content Error Downloading
Hello, I realized I had a lot of SimPoints saved up so I decided to purchase items from the sims store. Ever since I did that the items will not download. My login will pop up and I will try to login and it wont let me. It just keeps popping back up. My launcher also now says error cannot access. I have cleared my browser history as stated on other peoples questions and I uninstalled and redownloaded the game. I have also tried to download them via in game and through the launcher and nothing will work! I have also removed my custom content to see if that would help. Please help, I just want to play the sims.
@lillyb08153 As a test, please try installing the content into a clean user folder. Move the Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, open the launcher to spawn a clean folder, and try downloading one item, using Firefox. Let me know whether this works.
If it doesn't, does your EA password have any special characters? The launcher doesn't respond well to that. And did you recently change your username or the email address associated with this account? Sometimes that can cause issues too.
