Sims 3 Store Content Won't Download

So, I am trying to download my free content 'Jet Set Exclusive' to my Sims 3 Launcher. I got a new M! MacBook Pro and is transferring everything over to my new laptop from my old one. Everything went smoothly until I got to this content. When I click download, the Sims 3 logo appears, but when the Sims 3 launcher opens, a message pops up saying, 'There was an error Downloading OFB-SIM3:65220'. Now, I never seen this error before. I never had any issues on my old mac and even with this one, all my other Sims 3 store content downloaded perfectly. So, I'm not sure what the issue is with this one. So, when I exit and try reopening Origin again, Origin pops up with a message saying 'The application "Origin" can't be opened.' So, now I'm like reinstalling Origin to my computer to get back into my account. I hope this made sense. Can anyone help?

Side note: I am using Firefox to download from the Sims 3 Store to my Sims 3 Launcher since Safari was giving me problems on my old Mac and I was told that Firefox is better to use.

I have added some photos to this post.

@nessatay2223  Okay, I checked, and this "Jet Set Exclusive" is apparently the same product as the regular Jet Set, only created as a separate item to be sold with the Worlds Bundle through Origin.  (I never knew.)  So my next question is whether the store recognizes you own the Jet Set itself, or at least that you own the items and can download them.  Please try downloading that set:

    https://store.thesims3.com/setsProductDetails.html?productId=OFB-SIM3:17866

I just tested it myself, and it does download properly.  If you can't download the entire set, check a couple of the items and let me know whether they show as owned.

  • @nessatay2223  Is Origin working now?  If not, please do a clean uninstall and reinstall, as described here:

For the store set, I don't own it, so I can't test myself.  But the most useful test is to try to download the content into a clean user folder, as in, move the Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, open the launcher to spawn a clean folder, and try downloading just that item.  If it works, you can transfer the download from the new Sims 3 folder to the old one, trash the new folder, put the old one back, and install the content from the launcher.  The download will be in ...The Sims 3 > Downloads.

If downloading from your purchase history doesn't work, click the link to jump to the product page for that set and try downloading from there.  If the store thinks you don't own the item (a frequent occurrence these days), refresh the page a couple times.
