Sims 3 store update...

Hi,

I am also frustrated. I have the latest base which is the 1.42 and I bought and tried downloading the Monte Vista today I have been trying to add it to my game but it wont. Then it says its a new patch available so I click it but nothing happens. Is there a manual way to do it. It seems to be the only way I can get the patches. I have done all of them manually. Can someone please provide a link?

I also noticed my Riverview and barancle bay isn't on my game anymore but they wont load either.

That's probably the Store Update Patch. 1.42 is the latest game patch.
It's downloading very fast cause it's only 2 MB in size.
Can you check on the file size of your current store update patch. You'll find it in documents\electronicarts\thesims3\contentpatch.
Should be around 2 MB. If it's not, move the whole contentpatch folder to the desktop (close the launcher/game first) and then try redownloading ist.
