Sims 3 supernatural won't install

So I've tried installing the expansion with the disk and it keeps popping up with an error that I've never had before when installing these things.

I would have registered it through origin like I normally do but I bought the game from a local game store used and the code has already been registered. 

This is what comes up that wont let it instal

File transfer error (heading)

file:f\gamedata\shared\packages\fullbuild_p15.package
Error: data error (cyclic reduncancy check).

and then the only options are to either retry or cancel and it will get almost completely done installing and then that be the last thing that won't work. 

Anyone have any ideas on what to do here?
