Sims 3 TestingCheatsEnabled True not working

Entering CTRL + SHIFT + C used to bring up a box in which I would type TestingCheatsEnabled True.  I let the game get some updates (always a mistake) and now the console does not come up.  Anyone know if the method of entering the code has changed or why this is not working anymore?  Thanks
