Sims 3 Town Life and Into the Future won't download? Please Help?

A few days ago, I bought Town Life Stuff and Into the Future for my Laptop. When I tried to install them, Town Life Stuff gets stuck on - File:   D: \GameData\Shared\Packages\FullBuild_p09.package. ...

      yeah it does help because if it was a mac then we would ask our mac player/helper to assist you 🙂

      do other disks work in the drive  cd's ? movies?

        DVDs -Yes, but it takes just as long for it to be read as it does my Sims games.. 

        CDs - Yes 😕mileyhappy: 

        The CDs are read much faster than the DVDs, the CD automatically was read, the DVD took maybe 2 or 3 times of me taking it out due to the clicking noises
