Sims 3 University Life Glitch

GAH!

I am extremely frustrated with the glitch for Univeristy LIfe (Sims 3).

My sim has completed their degree and is ready to move back home with their spouse, but it does not go back to them, it loads a glitched screen that I can't even click on anything or anyone.

HELP!?!?!
