So is SimCity, probably University is next.
EA, really should have let us pre-download this beforehand so we don't overload the servers and cause more issues.
I agree, I'm pretty sure it will be morning before my download is finished.
:C maybe it might be a little faster since so many people are having issues downloading University and SimCity, it might give you a little window of opportunity to beat the crowd. ^^
Maybe. I looked on the Sims3 forums to see if anyone posted about this problem there, but the only issue with this EP on their forums is apparently registration codes from origin not working, but the game didn't ask for mine for the registration rewards, so I don't know what that's all about.

The twitter is just full of people complaining about the SimCity launch, so I can't see if anything is going on there.
I did see stuff about the codes though, like the party one not working or saying it's claimed.
EA really has their hands full today, I don't think it was such a good idea to launch two games at the same time.

Oh wow, I didn't know Sim City launched today. I played the beta and it was pretty good. The servers for it will probably be crashing left and right though, I'm gonna get it when the hype for it calms down a bit.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling origin? I can't because I'm waiting for a chat but I wonder if that would help.

Nope, but Origin just posted this on twitter:
"Origin is currently experiencing some delays due to heavy traffic. We're just as excited to play SimCity as you are! Hang tight..."
So, maybe this has something to do with our issues as well? I asked them but I probably won't get a reply until late later.
Apparently Origin told people to post here.
Lol
Yeah, we aren't getting support here so I don't know why they sent everyone here.
