Sims 3 University Life won't download
I preordered the game on Origin, and the release date was March 5th, but I've refreshed for 15 minutes and it still says unreleased. Am I missing something?

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling origin? I can't because I'm waiting for a chat but I wonder if that would help.
Nope, but Origin just posted this on twitter:
"Origin is currently experiencing some delays due to heavy traffic. We're just as excited to play SimCity as you are! Hang tight..."
So, maybe this has something to do with our issues as well? I asked them but I probably won't get a reply until late later.
