Sims 3 Update Issues [MAC]

this may seem silly but how do i download the ep/sp part in origin?

just a bit confused and nothing seems to be working ☹️

    @stacieee92

    Did you redeem your product codes for the EPs/SPs? After registering them they will show up in your games library. Hover your mouse over the base game and click the i in the pop up window.

      Hang on let me start afresh.

      I already had downloaded the game from origin as I have a MAC with no disc drive.
      I then when to update the game and it wouldn't complete the update properly.
      I then tried the Superpatch you reccomended and it gave me a "disc drive error" because I had no disc in there but there was never a disc to start with?
      Someone reccomended that I uninstall it and re install it which I have done and it is back to the beginning of not updating.

      Does that make sense? I just need to know how I can update it without it asking me for a disc
