Sims 3 updates/patches

I have just started having problems with my game never did until I installed the Sims 3 supernatural, my Sims fall through floors, they get stuck on lots as well as my animals do, and there is objects that I try to use and they Sims start to use it and they end up back in a standing position, it would be an awesome idea if a new patch could be created to fix this problem because I have looked thought the internet and talk to other people and they are even having problems, one person I talked to said there Sims caught on fire out of nowhere. So it would just be nice if this could be fixed in the next patch update.
