Sims 3 wants me to register my game with a serial code I never got?

Help my sims 3 when I launch it wont let me login with the login info I always use when logging into the sims 3 store and I just bought a new world and  I wish I could play it I already changed my password not too long ago but  I'll probbaly do it again but its my email its ays is not valid which as I stated already doesnt even make sense.I tried using my other email to register which it seems to accept but then it asks me to register my game with a serial code. I don't know what to do here since I downloaded and installed all my sims games off orgin and never got serial codes for the sims 3. Help anyone??!?! I've already reinstalled the sims 3  please responnd back

  • @Despop919  You don't need to login, either at the launcher or Main Menu, to play TS3, whether in your new store world or any other.  The way you get that world into your game is by downloading it into your game folder through the Sims 3 store.  Go to the store, login, click Store>My Account>Purchase History, and you should see every store item you own.  Click Download, then wait a few seconds for your launcher to open.  (You don't have to login at the launcher for this to work.)  Once the world is downloaded, check the box next to it and hit install.  Make sure you're only installing the world and nothing else, as the launcher can't properly install a lot of data at once.

    When you've installed the world, it will show up at the Main Menu, as part of a dropdown menu, when you press the button that says "New Game."  Again, you don't have to be logged in for this to work; the store world will load and play like any others you have installed.

    If you want to login while playing, I'll repeat my advice from before:  Clear all of your browser caches, including the one for Internet Explorer, and make sure to uncheck the box to preserve data for favorites.  Then change your password at the store site.  Then clear all of your browser caches again.  Then launch the game and try to login at the Main Menu, not the launcher.

    If you can't download and install the world, that's a different issue, but it's certainly solveable.  If you can't find that world in your purchase history, and the code has already been used, then you'll need to contact EA customer support for assistance.  No one here can fix that kind of account problem.

  • @Despop919  Creating a new account won't help you, as your packs and store content are all tied to your original account.  Even if you had codes for your packs, you wouldn't be able to reregister them.

    You can try clearing all of your browser caches, including the one for Internet Explorer,  Even if you never use it, the launcher does for some purposes.  Be sure to uncheck the box to preserve data for favorites.

    The other thing you can do is go into Documents\EA\TS3\Downloads and remove the file that's labeled [your email].bin.  Sometimes trashing that file helps reset things.

    Can you currently login to the Sims 3 store?  How about Origin?  If so, try changing your password, clearing all of your browser caches again, and see if that helps.

    Yes I'm able to log in everywhere except Sims 3 in the game then it tells me the same email and password I'm using wjen I log into orgin or the Sims 3 store on the website is invalid. I just cleaned my PC with cc cleaner and deleted orgin so I can reinstall it. Hopefully that works? It's what an early advisor told me if not I'll use your instructions

    @Despop919  Can you log into Origin? Does the game appear in the library? Did you purchase yjhe game through Origin?

    Yes earlier I said I downloaded my game off orgin and I can log into everything else just fine its just when I launch the game in client it asks me to sign in there and says my login info is invalid

    @Despop919  When you say you're prompted to sign in after launching, do you mean within the launcher?  Because it's usually not necessary to do so.  Many of us don't login at all while playing, and most of those who do wait until the Main Menu, where the process is more reliable.  But clearing Internet Explorer's cache (and unchecking the box to preserve data for favorites) is still the best way to fix errors with logins at the TS3 launcher level.

    Yes I try to log in at the main menu and it says the same password I use to log in everywhere else is wrong and not valid and I just want to play the new world I bought

    Ohh now I see. I guess my main issue was why I couldn't see a world I bought when last time I bought the two worlds pack I didn't have to go to the site thank you!
