Sims 3 website cannot change avatar background!

So I recently got the sims 3 like a month ago...

I uploaded my own avatar to the sims 3 website as my profile pic, but I cannot change the avatar background so it just plain white.

I know the steps to change it, you purchase a avatar background from the my goodies store and then you click "try it" and it's suppose to change but it does not.

Other new users are having the same issue as well, I tried contacting EA but they do not listen.

Can anyone please help me?

    Yeah. It's been a issue for a month. I have been gifted a new Background and can't change to it neither anyone I own. Hope someone can't fix it. In fact no one can change their avatar background on the sims 3 exchange.

    @Frendilla19royal Yeah I’m having the same issue as well, I thought it might have been because I use Chrome but I tried Firefox too but even that didn’t work, guess it’s an issue on the website?

    I've also noticed the Default EA Avatars are not listed in the Avatar selection as well.

    Yep. Also Update. The default EA Avatars are back on the avatar selection list.

    @Frendilla19royal My name is different on here since it didn't update on the sims 3 exchange page. Hope someone will see this so we can hopefully being able to change our backgrounds on the site if they can.

    A quick update. We are still having this issue. No one can change the Avatar Background on the sims 3 site.

    Just giving another update. On the exchange we still can't change our avatar backgrounds with the free ones and the ones we bought on the sims 3 site. Tried to download and click try it in our my page goodies and still nothing works. I hope we can get this fixed. We haven't been able to change our backgrounds on our avatars for nearly 2 months. New people are stuck with the default white ones.
