Sims 3 website is down?

I thought your message was for me and when I saw after I posted my reply that it was for the OP, I felt I made a mistake. But we are all experiencing this, the entire member community of thesims3.com

There's more to the page HTTP Status 500- and I know Microsoft has been making major changes to their products, so perhaps this is the result of that?

I can't access the Store but I may access the chat in the Player Profile and Wall ingame. The EA Help sent me to the forums after clearing the web browser caches and trying muliple browsers and they did't work.

The Downloads Dashboard fails as well since one must be signed in to utilize the launcher to download and install owned Store content. This is all the information I have to share on this  Bad Gateway 502 error. It had been a week and a half since we noticed this, too

It's community wide. None of us can sign in to thesims3.com

Seems the team is aware of the issue so hopefully fixes might happen. Even if the site has to go down for a while but better then nothing. Hopefully with all our reports and the team aware we might see fixes happen. Thanks EA_Solaire​ for listening and I did put a comment about all the issues we are having 2 days ago on here in this post below if you needed anything. Hopefully we can see fixes now that people are aware if this all has gone through. Fingers crossed since people can't redownload their store stuff without the site not working for them. If there is anything else you need feel free to let us know and we will let you know when we are around :)

i can't even log in at all. i can access thesims3.com generic public page, but when i click the login button, it immediately goes to the 502 bad gateway page. which means i can't access any of the items in my studio, nor can i access any of my store content.

Well, I had this same problem for the last 3 days too. I was kind of excited when I went online just now to the Sims 3 site and when I clicked on "login" it took me to a sign up for my  EA account. Put in all info and went back to the site but after clicking on "login" it just blinked and sat there. NOTHING. Did not come up with the 502 Gateway Err but didn't let me do anything either! So still not fixed. Sorry!

Could you let me know the exact steps you're taking when this happens, and does this happen every time with your memory posts? 

Same here. Logging in still doesn't work. It still has the log in option after logging in rather than showing your username. Perhaps it means they are working on it?

I still can not get on to The Sims 3 store or community or exchange or my page. :(  has anything changed for anyone?
