Sims 3 won’t open on EA App

I recently bought sims 3 on the EA app and it hasn’t been able to load in. Every time I click play it will say starting game and then immediately take me back to the EA app, I don’t even get the sims 3 launcher. I’ve tried the alder fix and that did not work either. I’m wondering if I am able to play sims 3 on this device and any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
@GlitchgrL Please uninstall .NET Framework 3.5, which Sims 3 also uses. Click Windows key-R, enter appwiz.cpl in the run box, click "Turn Windows features on or off," and .NET 3.5 will be near the top of the list. Click the filled-in box to uninstall, and restart your computer. Repeat the process, clicking the now-empty box to reinstall, and restart again. If .NET 3.5 isn't installed yet, simply install and restart.
By the way, your C and D drives are also low on space, C almost critically so. While this probably isn't causing the Sims 3 error, it should be addressed soon. While you wouldn't want to install most games on an external drive, other data can be moved there safely.
