Sims 3 won't launch on Mac
I'm playing Sims 3 64 bit and metal. I have a MacBook Pro 2020 with M1 chip. I last played about 6 months ago and it worked just fine, so I'm not sure what happened. I have removed my mods folder...

robinbear80 Aside from your Store downloads and any custom content you'd install through the launcher, the Downloads folder also contains a few items related to your account itself (the email tied to your account, any badge progress you've made, that sort of thing). I'm surprised that anything in there, as opposed to a file in Mods, would prevent the game from loading at all, but I guess it's not impossible.
Zemoxia25 If you still need help, it would be best if you created your own thread describing your issue, in more detail, since you're running a different OS than the original poster in this thread.
