Sims 3 won't launch
I bought Sims 3 and it won't launch at all. Also the help function and forum sectionn don't work on Origin, I m really unhappy about this! Windows 7 with plenty of oomph!

Are you getting an error message ? Does the launcher start ?
The only thing I get is Sims3 launcher has stopped working
Try downloading the newest patch manually here:

Tried the super patch! Still the same message!
I am having the same problem you are. I just tried the super patch but my pc threw it back and said I already have it installed. The only thing I can think of to try, (because I have tried everything) is to remove my Norton antivirus and see if that solves the problem. The game was working perfectly fine up until three days ago.
