@CourtGamer The only fix here is to contact EA customer support again (sorry) and ask that the support rep remove the EA Play version, and only that version, from your account. Once they've done that, you should be able to use the standard version of Sims 3 again. The problem is that the subscription version overrides the other unless it's removed.
You may also need to clear the EA App's cache afterwards:
