Sims 3 World Adventures PC expansion pack

i have all the expansion packs downloaded but while i play The Sims 3 Island Paradise i go to travel to France, China, Egypt either or and when it takes you to the house your staying at and nothing none of my stuff shows up including my people dont show up but the time just keeps running. i tried  uninstalling it nd re install it and it just does the same thing over again. can anyon help me?
