859janie  Does this happen if you play a different lot?  You don't have to delete your save; this is only for comparison's sake.

Please also let me know whether you use mods or custom content, and the version number you see in the lower-left corner of the launcher.

She is the only one i have in that world/saved game. but have another world/saved game and she does not have that when i play that one. Laucher version is : 15.0135.018001- says it up to date evry. time i check it b4 playing. I did have another lot in that same game but ended up deleting that game because was doing the same as her when i tried to play him.

no mods, no cc just base sims 3 game and 2 expansion packs(late night/supernatural)

859janie  The launcher doesn't do a thorough job of patching even when it reports a fully-updated game.  Yours isn't close to updated no matter what the launcher says.  In fact, EA created a Super Patch for exactly this reason.  Here's a direct download link:

Some browsers may flag or block the download because its URL starts with http rather than https, but you can see from the address that it points directly to EA servers.

Anyway, please run the Super Patch and try again to play, and let me know how it goes.  I'm not saying this should fix the original issue, but it's a lot easier to troubleshoot with a fully-updated game, not to mention that an incomplete patch job from the launcher can add extra problems.

my antivirus wont let me unblock this to be able to update . any suggestions?

859janie  Try a different browser.  If that doesn't help, you can temporarily disable your antivirus, just long enough to download the Super Patch and run it.

If I had an alternative to this, I'd offer it, but any other source of the patch would just be a reupload of the original from EA.  And there isn't another good way to patch an all-disc install that doesn't involve converting to an EA App install, which I'm not suggesting you do for a few reasons.

thank you for helping me try this . i got the laucher updated but my game still has the same problem from the video as b4 even after the patch.

Yea  I tried going thru the ea app for the game and repairing there b4 which mess my disk version up BIG time. had to uninstall all the games and then install them all agin to get my disks working again not fun lol

859janie  Okay, so the launcher says patch 1.67 now?  Since that didn't fix the underlying issue, try moving your sim to a different lot.  Once you've done so, use "save as" to rename the save, so you don't overwrite your original save.  Then quit, delete the cache files in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 3, reload, and test.  These are the cache files:

• CASPartCache.package
• compositorCache.package
• scriptCache.package
• simCompositorCache.package
• socialCache.package

If that alone doesn't help, try it again, except evict your household in Edit Town and place it elsewhere rather than using the in-game Move option.

The launcher is right but I don't have any of the caches  u said to delete ..only ones I have are DCCache, IGACache,and SigsChache. That's the only ones I have in my sim3 files.

859janie  These are folders, not files.  In Windows, folders are listed first by default, so you'll need to scroll down to see the cache files.  And they have to exist if you've started the game once and haven't deleted the files since then.

Sorry bout that I did find them and deleted all them. I still had to delete my game,and start a whole new neighborhood w/a new game to get it straighten out without the weird pop-ups on my screen. Thank you for all the help, I appreciate  it. Now if I could get my sims 2 fixed I would be one happy simmer in deed, lol
