Sims Cannot Get Out Houseboat

the room is a flat roof, not one of those big triangle pyramid roofs if you know what i mean

ill try to place it somewhere else. i started rebuilding a semi replica of the house last night with more space in the front but luckily i still have the other houseboat saved

yup so, the problem was infact the house they had. the front area didnt have much space for them.  thank you guys for attempting to help me!

lightsqber​  Glad you got it figured out.  I don't think it would help with this particular issue, but if your sims are having trouble finding space for interactions in general, the "sims need less space" series of mods on MTS may be useful.  The mods resize the jigs that sit under a sim or sims while they're performing an activity, and a smaller jig means it's easier to get around them, and it's also easier for the sim to find a place to perform the action.  There's one mod per EP, and one for the base game, and also a "pets need less space" mod.  These are newer but don't have any major reported issues, and they shouldn't conflict with anything else due to how they're made.

gonna give this a try because now they cant use their stove because of a cabinet i had above it. which has never happened before, i already deleted the cabinet so they could use it, but im still gonna give it a try
