Did you try to run the game manually through ts3.exe ? That one warning about the wrong exe is a bit weird.
Seems you're running out of memory somewhere.
Did you try to reduce some of the graphics settings ? Shut down some background processes you don't need while playing ?
It wont let me run through the exe file, i reduced my graphics and nothing happened diffrently.
Yeah, but did you use the ts3.exe instead of ts3w.exe ? Only explanation I have for that warning.
There seems to be some kind of memory leak somewhere. If lowering the settings doesn't help, I'm afraid I can't help.
My suggestion is to post at another forum to get more technical help
There's many others.
Its frustrating and demoralizing because they just keep saying the same thing. There seems as if there is nothing i can do.
Wish I could help you but I'm out of ideas. Sorry.
Can not find anything obvious in the dxdiag. Did you upgrade the power supply when you installed the GTX 460? The GTX 460 requires a minimum 550W power supply and the Dell 8300 ships with a 460W power supply. The violation in writing indicates a DEP problem. DEP protects certain memory locations it deems shouldn't be read or written. As the Dell 8300 is no longer an available product the status of all the components come into question. You say you didn't play for a while and in the interim you could have changed the hardware or something may be starting to fail. Are you using an adapter to connect the power supply? How are you setting the DEP settings? How old is this computer?
When i got the gtx 460 i upgraded and got a new power supply that is now 700w, my computer is almost 2 years old.
