Sims3 Update 1.0.631.0000001 Problem!

I had a harddrive problem several months ago and received a new harddrive, my computer was like new. I went to install my Sims3 which was successfull, but when going to play, an update poped up. I accepted the update but when finished, it says that a file is corrupted and if I want to debug it. When I click yes, it closes everything off. When I click no, it still closes everything off. I can't play the game without updating and the update is not working. I have already reinstalled multiple times. What can I do?
