Software update?

try opening your launcher at desktop and see if you get notice for a store patch which is seperate from the game patch

Make sure your game patch is 1.67. Look at the lower left hand corner of your launcher. If you are not patched to 1.67 use the superpatcher

When I open my launcher at desktop, I dont get a notice for a store patch, which leads me to believe that I have the updated version of the store patch!?

In the lower left hand coner of my launcher I see that it says 1.67.2.024017.

so if I need to install the latest version of the software update, which update am i supposed to install, that I apperently dont have at the moment ??

Did you redownload your store content from your purchase history before trying to install or did you try use a backup ?

I have tried to redownload my store content  from my purchase history, because I reinstalled the game some time ago.

I have also tried to delete the downloade file, and then redownload it over and over, because I read in a forum that it could be the file that was corrupted, but no matter what, I cant install it!?

Did you use a new serial number then before to install your game ?

Were you logged in while you downloaded ?

I have bought the game online, so I download it and the install it, so I dont have to enter a serial number!?
So I dont belive that I used a new serial number?

And I have tried while being logged in, and also while being offline.

Still says the same thing .

So you bought it on Origin and downloaded through Origin ? 

Were you ever able to install them or is this your first time installation for the Store content ? 

Does it matter which one ? Have you tried them all ?

It has been installed before, and none of the store content can be installed.

But I can install stuff from the exchange!?

And yes I bought and downloade it from origin.

It's an issue with the entitlement. Since Exchange stuff is free, it doesn't have that.

I have no idea how the process works in detail but that message you get usually occurs if the launcher thinks you have no right to install the Store content. Many have this issue and I just don't know what's causing it. Usually redownloading the stuff while being logged in, solves the issue but for some, that just doesn't seem to work.

Did you contact a game advisor yet so they can take a look at your account (can't do that since I^m only a user) ?

I would contact a game advisor if I knew how to, I dont know how to contact anyone that actually works with the sims 3 game, which I find very frustrating.
